New Academic Calendar for 2024 - 2025

The new calendar features:

one common daily/weekly schedule for the Middle and Upper School
balances the needs of both the Middle and Upper School communities
create opportunities for cross-divisional classes
increase the number of class meetings and total time class time throughout the year
‘flex’ block for added class time, all-school assemblies, and opportunities for more connections in our greater Buffalo community
prioritizes community and culture at Nichols with student life programming
Both divisions will start with classes at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:25 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. We will continue to have a late start on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.

The new academic calendar will optimize student learning and achievement and at the same time equip our students with the skills, knowledge and values necessary for lifelong success.
