McCarthy Fund

The McCarthy Fund was created in memory of Edmond D. McCarthy, Eugene F. McCarthy, and in honor of their descendants who attended Nichols School. The fund currently serves two purposes for Nichols School.
  1. The McCarthy Fund awards a prize to a student(s) who has shown significant growth while overcoming personal or scholastic difficulties during his or her career at Nichols. The prize is awarded annually on Verdian Day.
  2. The McCarthy Fund provides project funding and support for teachers and students that may otherwise not have been possible. Over the years, funding has included contributions to the library, technology, robotics, photography, campus enhancement, and the English, Science, and Art Departments.
