Through close relationships with teachers, a strong culture of support, and a curriculum designed to encourage curiosity and independent reasoning, Nichols students learn how to ask better questions, defend their ideas with evidence, and take ownership of their learning.

Middle School
Middle School is a transformative time, and Nichols meets students with an engaging, supportive program that emphasizes close observation, active participation, and strong academic habits. Students learn to manage projects, communicate effectively, and build the confidence and resilience that prepare them for the opportunities and challenges of Upper School. -
Upper School
Upper School students pursue a rigorous and personalized academic experience that encourages independence and intellectual curiosity. Through advanced coursework, research opportunities, and programs such as AP Capstone, students develop exceptional skills in writing, research, presentation, and critical thinking. Nearly half of a recent graduating class earned the AP Capstone Diploma, reflecting the depth of academic engagement at Nichols. -
