Young Scholars Workshop

Nichols School invites non-Nichols students in grades 4–6 to join us for the next Young Scholars Workshop, a three-hour immersive experience designed to ignite imagination, creativity, and curiosity.

During the morning, students will rotate through three interactive 45-minute workshops, led by Nichols faculty and inspired by the dynamic learning environment that defines our Middle School.

Up to 12 unique sessions may be offered, allowing participants to explore a range of topics across literature, writing, science, art, mindfulness, and more.

Past workshop examples include:

Poetry in Play – dynamic poetry performance and storytelling
Art as Text – illuminated letters inspired by literature
Math OPERA-tions – the drama of math and the order of operations
Galactic Quills & Dragon Scrolls – sci-fi and fantasy writing lab
Breaking News! Natural Disaster – fictional science reporting
Guess the Riddle – personification poetry
Talking Leaves & Story Magic – book browsing and storytime
Star Jars, Centering Jars – mindfulness through narrative
Native American Code Talkers – language, culture, and history

While students explore, parents and guardians are welcome to return at 11:15 AM to speak with our Admissions Team or join us for student pick-up at noon.

Space is limited. Registration is $25 per student.
If your child is near middle school age but outside grades 4–6, please contact our Admissions Office to determine if the programming will be a good fit.
